At the Northwest CT YMCA, everything we do is rooted in one simple belief: every child deserves the opportunity to grow, succeed, and feel a sense of belonging.
Each day, we serve families across our community by providing safe, supportive spaces where kids can learn, play, and build confidence. From our childcare center, where young children take their first steps in learning and social development, to our afterschool programs that keep kids active and engaged, the Y is a place where families can rely on care and connection.
As kids grow, so do the opportunities. In our Ninja Training Center, they challenge themselves, build resilience, and discover their strength. Through youth sports like basketball, cheerleading, martial arts, and soccer, they learn teamwork, discipline, and the value of hard work. In the pool, swimmers gain lifelong skills, confidence, and a sense of achievement—often finding a passion that stays with them for years.
At YMCA Camp M.O.E., children experience something truly special. Surrounded by nature, they make friends, try new activities, and gain independence in a safe and supportive environment. For many, it’s a place where confidence grows, friendships are formed, and lasting memories are made.
As a charitable organization, the Y is committed to ensuring that every child has access to these opportunities, regardless of their financial situation. Through community support, we provide financial assistance so that no child is turned away—because every child deserves the chance to reach their full potential.
