I know it's tempting but trails are still closed. Many gates have not been opened, water holes have not froze, and it's still deer season for us smoke pole hunters. Please respect the landowners and keep the sleds home until we are given the o.k. BTW there is no set date for trails opening, they open when it's safe and the landowners are OK with us using their land.

We will be making a big push this weekend to finish clearing the trails from December's storm. On Saturday 1/27/24 we will meet in the point afta parking lot @ 9 a.m., and disperse from there to clear trails. On Sunday 1/28/24 we will meet where the trail crosses the Shorey rd @ 8:30 a.m. We will mostly be clearing blow downs so chainsaws and man power are what's needed the most. JL

I can't believe I have to make this post but unfortunately I do. The trails are not open please get the sleds and the kayaks off our trails. If anyone knows who was out today please have a word with them about respecting landowners and staying on trails.

We will be having another club work day on Saturday 01/06/24 @ 8:30 a.m. We will be meeting on the Taylor rd. Scott and I have been busy working on 3 different reroutes on the trail system so that along with very low turnout means we are nowhere near ready to open trail if we get snow. Please lend a hand the storm left quite the mess and 3 or 4 guys are not going to be able to get it all done.

12/29/2023

We will be meeting tomorrow's 12/30/23 @ 8:30 a.m. to clear trail and work on reroute around the solar project. We will meet on the Taylor Rd where ITS 85 crosses.

12/09/2023

We will have another trail work project this Sunday 12/10/2023. We will meet in The Pointe Afta parking lot at 8:30 a.m. bring your saws if you have them.

Thanks,

Jay L.

Tommorow 11-26-23 9:00 a.m. will be our first trail work project of the year. On the agenda is signage, we will be building many new signs than putting them in place. We will meet at Scott's back garage at 9.

We have decided to cancel this weekend's work project. With the holiday so close and many people having to use tomorrow morning to dig out we felt it would be best to hold off. If you're bored and feel like contributing you can always go out and walk trails and remove blow downs from the trail on your own, as long as you are certain you are on the snowmobile trail.
Thanks,
Jay L.
