Thank you KMD Driving School for allowing us to host our 4th annual Bike Rodeo on your site. The kids had fun learning bike car, proper safety gear and riding.

These awesome kiddos participated in Green Up Winslow Maine today! They spent a few hours collecting buckets of trash and managed to fill 9 buckets at the Town Office and the school. They found a little toad that they moved to a safer area.
Then they went to the Winslow Fire station to see the fire trucks and talk to a couple of fire fighters!
After they enjoyed some pizza before going home.

As the cubs competed in the ultimate relay race where they hopscotched their way to spin like a tree, walk like a bear, heel toe across a fallen log and then jump a river just to hop across some stones to victory they quickly ran to relay which animal was domestic and which was wild. Then they had to organize appropriate outdoor weather gear and then rush over to decide where food came from, the ground, a vine or a farm. We did a quick parent vs kid competition that ended in a tie. Then they finished off the evening doing play ground safety using the buddy system and making safe choices.

These deer came out to watch the kids and their shenanigans.

Congratulations to our cubs that competed in the District Pinewood Derby yesterday held by Oakland.
Our Tiger got 1st for their match, our AOL got 3rd for their match and our Wolf got 3rd for best in show.
