Our fall hike and search for fungi is coming up this month! Join us on Sat. Oct 24th from 9:30-11:30am at Holzinger Trails to enjoy a hike where we take in the fall colors and see what fungi we can find along the way. Registration is available on our website! We hope to see you on the trail.

Meet us on Saturday, October 3rd from 10-12pm to go on a self guided hike through the Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge! The WOC staff will be present to provide additional hike info, bird ID books, and some binoculars for participants to borrow. This is a great time of year for both bird watching and taking in the fall colors as leaves begin to change!

We are a little over a week away from our pumpkin painting event! Join us at Farmer's Park on Saturday, Oct. 3rd from 9:30-11:30am to decorate your own pumpkin while also enjoying some coffee & donuts to start your weekend!

Shoutout to .coffee for providing the coffee for this event! Donuts will of course be from the local favorite .

Join us on Sat. Oct. 3rd from 10-12pm for a fall birding and leaf looking event! 🪶🥾🍂 We will meet at a trailhead called River Bottoms Road which connects to Oxbow D**e for this hike in Trempealeau National Wildlife Refuge. This hike will take just under 2 hours to complete and is an out and back. It will be self guided, but the WOC staff will be present at the trail with some binoculars and bird identification books.

Join us for an evening guided hike as we anticipate the appearance of a full moon! All skill levels and ages are welcome to come along on this night of fun where we will explore the Chickadee Circuit Trail. What better way to welcome the season of fall than a full moon hike?

Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring along a headlamp or small flashlight. Registration and signed waiver are required. See you on the trail!
