💛🛋️ Operation: Teacher Lounge Makeover! ☕️✨

Our incredible teachers work so hard for our kids, and the WES PTO wants to give them a relaxing, refreshed space to recharge during the day! We are officially working on a 🌟 NEW Teacher Lounge 🌟, and we need your help to bring it to life!

Before we buy anything new, we are looking for in-kind (item) donations from our amazing community. If you or a business you know has any of the following items in new or excellent/like-new condition that you’d be willing to donate, we would be so grateful:

🛋Comfortable Seating: Couches, loveseats, or cozy armchairs (neutral or fun colors!)
🪑Tables:A small dining table, end tables, or a coffee table
☕️Appliances: A Keurig/coffee maker, microwave, or mini-fridge
🖼Decor & Comfort: Throw pillows, cozy rugs, lamps, or uplifting wall art
🛒Snack Station Essentials: Baskets, organizers, or a rolling utility cart

🎓 Oh, the Places They’ll Go! 🍪🎉

Our incredible Kindergarteners and 5th Graders have officially reached a major milestone, and the WES PTO wanted to make sure they celebrated in the sweetest way possible!

To honor our little grads moving up to 1st grade and our big grads heading off to middle school, the PTO provided custom-ordered graduation cookies for everyone to enjoy. From "Future Class of 2033" shapes to "Peace Out 5th Grade" hearts, they were almost too cute to eat! 🎓✨

🍦 Ending the Week on a "Cool" Note! 🍨

The final act of our Teacher Appreciation Circus was a "sweet" success! 🎪 To wrap up this amazing week, we brought the celebration directly to our staff with a rolling Ice Cream Delivery Cart! 🍦✨

From classic vanilla cups to colorful sherbet treats, we loved visiting every classroom and department to deliver a little afternoon pick-me-up. Whether you’re teaching in the classroom or keeping our campus running in the cafeteria, maintenance, and support offices—you are the "cherry on top" of our school! 🍒

🎪 The Sweetest Show on Earth! 🍭🍪

The circus fun continues for Day 4 of Teacher Appreciation Week! Today, we transformed the PLC room into a "Sweets & Treats" extravaganza to celebrate our incredible staff.

From tiered displays of cookies and cupcakes to gourmet pastries and muffins, our staff enjoyed a spectacular dessert bar that would make any ringmaster proud! It’s just a small way to say thank you to the teachers, administrators, and support teams who keep the "show" running smoothly every day at WES.

The "WES Circus" is in full swing for Day 3 of Teacher Appreciation Week! We know our staff works tirelessly to keep the show running, so this morning we transformed the PLC room into the ultimate Coffee Bar & Donut Station.

From our "Ring Leader" teachers to our vital maintenance, cafeteria, and support teams, we hope this morning's caffeine and sugar kick provided the perfect start to your day! You all do a "latte" for our students, and we are so grateful for your hard work.

🍋 🍋SIP, SIP, HOORAY! 🍋 IT’S LEMONADE DAY! 🍋🍋

The Teacher Appreciation Week fun continues at WES! Today, we cooled things off with a DIY Lemonade Bar for our incredible staff. From our dedicated classroom teachers to our hardworking cafeteria, maintenance, and custodial teams—everyone got to craft their own custom creation!

Our staff got creative with gourmet flavors like:
The Spa Day (Lavender & Mint) 🌿
Pink Starburst (Strawberry, Vanilla, & Cream) 🍬
Tropical Escape (Coconut & Cherry) 🌴

🥯 Starting Teacher Appreciation Week on a "Hole" Lot of Love!

Today we kicked off Teacher Appreciation Week at WES with a full Bagel Bar breakfast! 🥯☕️

From the maintenance and janitorial teams to our amazing teachers, cafeteria staff, and SPED department—we wanted to make sure everyone started their Monday with a full heart and a full stomach. You all go above and beyond for our students every single day, and we are so grateful for the "dough-votion" you show this school!
