The American Revolution Experience invites visitors to consider the choice faced by members of the revolutionary generation as tensions mounted in the 1770s: Would these ordinary citizens risk their lives and livelihoods in pursuit of liberty? Or would they remain loyal subjects of the British crown, coming into conflict with neighbors and family? What would you choose?

We are wrapping up , but for DAR members, every month is an opportunity volunteer. Already in 2026, DAR members have contributed more than 800,000 volunteer hours. We are proud that DAR is a founding partner of America Gives, an initiative of the America250 Commission inviting all Americans to honor the Semiquincentennial by making 2026 a record-setting Year of Service.

Thank you to our members for strengthening communities through meaningful outreach in historic preservation, education, and patriotism. Tell us how you are volunteering on a local level to honor America’s 250th Birthday.

On December 14, the Wenonah Chapter enjoyed a holiday gathering and luncheon. Many thanks to The Grill at Signatures for the beautiful room and the delicious food. Our server was very kind and worked hard to make sure our group was well taken care of! Donations were made by members to decorate patriot holiday trees and an oath of membership ceremony for our newest member was performed. Have a blessed and safe holiday!

This week we are happy to learn that one of the Wenonah Chapter applicant's application is approved! She, along with our chapter registrar have worked diligently on her application We are so glad and thankful to welcome her as a new member of the DAR and our Wenonah Chapter!

After the September Chapter meeting, members played a game of ancestor diversity, which resulted in some fascinating conversations and insight as we placed pins on a world map showing the origins of our ancestors, coming from around the world to the USA!
