June 20 is World Refugee Day, designated by the United Nations to honor refugees around the globe. According to the UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency, at the end of December 2025, there were 41.6 million refugees, 9 million asylum-seekers and 68.7 million people displaced due to conflict or violence within their own country.

At Project FINE, we are proud to be able to offer help refugees in our region as they build a new life. Thank you to our partners, supporters and friends for working with us in pursuit of our vision of fostering a respectful and welcoming community.

This year’s Annual Report theme, The Stories We Share, reflects the generosity, time, and kindness of so many people, and we are deeply grateful to all who shared in this work with us.
