A thank you from the Programming Chair, Debi Niebuhr:
The Winona Arts Center wants to thank all of the many artists who taught classes, musicians who gifted us with great concerts, artists who exhibited in our gallery and educated us about their process along with the musicians who played for the Seven Sundays, and the film committee for choosing such interesting films and the guest speakers they provided. I wish to thank the board for all of the volunteer hours that go into producing all of this programming as we do it all without staff. We are the janitors, gardeners, cleaners, promotors, film critics, scouts for artists, and so much more.

A special thank you to our volunteer who writes our grants, which has been a very helpful boost.

A huge thanks to our WAC members who support our mission and to the many folks who have added a donation when renewing their memberships. Your support means so much; it enables us to do our programming and lifts our spirits while doing the work.

And, most importantly, I want to thank our participants in classes, our amazing attentive audience at concerts and movies, and everyone who appreciates our gallery exhibits and engages with all of our artists in such meaningful ways. Honestly, our audiences are becoming a legend! So, thank you for your continuous support and for helping to spread the word about the little blue church that has really become “a place for people, a home for art.”

We are on a summer break as there is a ton of happenings in Winona in the summer. Enjoy all of it and We Will Be Back In the Fall. Here are some of our activities to get on your calendar:
