Looking for a fun way to build confidence, skills, and a love for the outdoors? Join us Monday nights for KCV Youth Mountain Bike Skills & Trail Rides!
✅ Learn safe mountain biking skills
✅ Progress through 4 skill levels—from Trail Safe to Trail Advanced
✅ Explore local trails and new riding challenges
✅ Discover trail building and maintenance while giving back to the community
✅ Completely FREE to participate!
📍 Please arrive at 5:30 PM with a parent/guardian for registration and a bike safety check.
What you’ll need: 🚲 Mountain bike
⛑ Helmet (limited loaner helmets available—contact us in advance)
💧 Water bottle or hydration pack
Optional: Snacks, bike gloves, and bug spray.
Dress for the weather and get ready for an evening of skills, trails, adventure, and new friendships!

Despite the overnight rain, we had a great day of riding for the Fall 2026 Bike Rodeo. Thank you Warsaw Community Schools and Sacred Heart for letting us teach and equip over 330 third graders with proper bicycle riding safety skills, as well as new helmets and bike lights. We look forward to our rodeos each spring and fall. Thank you to Warsaw Community Church for use of half of the parking lot and restrooms all day. And thank you to our incredible volunteers that spend hours with us guiding the kids at each safety skills station. Shout out to our coaches helping teach kids that don’t know how to ride yet, the basics of balance and striding before pedaling. Over 30 kids learned to ride a bike for the first time! 👏 And of course, we can’t thank our teachers enough… they’ve spent the last 6 weeks in the classroom with the kids modeling, measuring heads for helmets, explaining what safe riding looks like and preparing them for the rodeo day.

Lastly, thank you to Kosciusko County Community Foundation and the Tracey’s Trails Fund as well as Kids Market for the grant! Each round of the Tracey’s Trailer Bicycle Education Project and Rodeo costs nearly $10,000. If you or your business would like to sponsor all or a portion of one of the two yearly programs, please let us know. Every bit helps us get safely!

We've changed the date and location of this year's Poker Run to Sunday, October 18th at the KCV Brown Barn, closest to the Boy's City Drive trailhead. It's from 2-6 and checkout the Facebook event post for more detail.

Thanks Harrison Huskies for letting us bring the Tracey's Trailer Bicycle Education Program to your school!

Tracey's Trailer is now in each Warsaw Community School, educating 3rd graders on bicycle safety, providing free helmets and culminating in a bicycle rodeo. If you're interested in supporting this program, please email [email protected].

🚲 Third grades first lesson from Tracey’s Trailer! 🚲

Here are some simple bike and helmet safety tips.

🔧 Bike Check: ABCs

• A = Air: Check your tires.
• B = Brakes: Make sure they work.
• C = Chain: Make sure it moves smoothly.

⛑️ Helmet Fit

• Keep two fingers above your eyebrows.
• Make sure the straps form a V around your ears.
• Leave one finger between your chin and the strap.

💡 Be Safe and Be Seen

Use reflectors or lights on your bike. Wear bright clothing, especially at night.

Check your bike, wear your helmet, and ride safely!
