Clay Russell, the Executive Director of Fresh Start and the Clinical Director of NELSA has previously been awarded the LASCAT 2023 & 2024 Certified Clinical Supervisor of the Year and 2025 Counselor of the Year. Now, Clay has been nominated by LASCAT and appointed by Governor Landry to the Louisiana Addictive Disorder Regulatory Authority Board of Directors. This is a very important appointment for drug and alcohol counselors across the state and especially in Northeast Louisiana. Let’s congratulate our friend, Clay Russell.
