August 9, 2026 is a Sunday. Today's angle: in Christ a new creation, your identity is found in Him alone.

You didn't earn your way into a new life — you were placed into one. In Christ, you are a new creation. Not improved. Not patched up. New. That cell, that sentence, that file with your name on it — none of it gets the final word on who you are.

Pastor Tommy Miller talks about doxa — glory — as God's opinion of something, made visible. Here's God's opinion of you: He calls you His own. He calls you son, daughter, new. And when heaven's opinion becomes visible in your life, that's glory showing up — not because you performed for it, but because Christ already finished the work.

Your identity was never supposed to be built from your record, your regrets, or what other people decided about you in a courtroom or a cellblock. It's found in Him — in union with Jesus, the same union He has with the Father. That's not religious language, that's your actual reality right now, today, wherever you're sitting.

So don't let the old file define you. Old things passed away. All things — all of it — became new. Let that be the truth you stand on today, not because you feel new yet, but because God already declared it. Your job now is simply to agree with Him.

You are who He says you are. Let that settle deep.

August 8, 2026 is a Saturday — that's the "match your mind to God's, transformation works from the inside out" angle.

Here's your post:

---

You don't drift into transformation. It happens when your mind starts agreeing with what God already says is true about you.

Pastor Tommy Miller has been teaching on doxa — glory — and here's the piece that matters for you today: glory is just God's opinion made visible. Not a feeling. Not a mystical experience. His estimate of who you are, showing up in the open where people can see it.

That means the work isn't out there. It's not about your circumstances changing first. It starts in your thinking. When your mind lines up with how God sees you — not how the system labeled you, not how your worst day defined you, not how your own guilt has been narrating your story — something shifts. And it doesn't stay hidden. It works its way out into how you carry yourself, how you treat people, how you handle a hard day on the block or a hard conversation at home.

You're not waiting on a parole board, a judge, or anybody else to hand you your identity. God already spoke it. Your job is to keep agreeing with Him until it's the only voice you can hear.

Renew your mind today. Let it show.

August 7, 2026 is a Friday — today's angle is the love of God, He loved you first.

You don't have to earn your way into being loved. That's the part so many of us get backwards — we think we have to clean up first, prove ourselves first, get it right first, and THEN God will love us. But that's not the gospel. He loved you before you ever got it right. He loved you in the cell. He loved you in the courtroom. He loved you in the years you were running from Him and from yourself. His love was never a reaction to your performance — it was the reason Jesus came at all.

Romans 5:8 says God showed His love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Not after. Not once we cleaned up. While. That's the timing of grace — it doesn't wait for you to become lovable, because you already are, simply because He made you and He said so.

If you're locked up right now feeling like love has to be earned back from everyone around you, hear this: God's love was never on the table to be earned in the first place. It's settled. It's finished. It's yours. And when you let that truth sink into your identity instead of your guilt, everything starts to change — not because you tried harder, but because you finally believed you were loved first.

August 6, 2026 is a Thursday. Angle: the finished work - healed, not broken, Christ already did it.

Best-fit sermon: "Sozo Forensics"

You didn't get here by accident, and you're not stuck here by accident either — but hear this: you are not broken. Sozo means saved, rescued, made whole, kept safe, delivered from everything harmful and brought into everything beneficial. That's not a future hope. That's a finished work.

Whatever verdict has been spoken over you — by a judge, a system, a family member, or your own mind at 3am on a bunk — it doesn't get the final word. Christ already did the work. He didn't leave the job half done, waiting on you to fix yourself first. He rescued you completely. Whole. Safe. Delivered.

That means the shame you carry from your record isn't your identity — it's leaven, and it doesn't belong in the story God is telling about you. He's not waiting for you to earn wholeness through good behavior or a clean disciplinary file. He already declared you whole. Your job now is to believe it, to let that truth settle into how you see yourself today, in this cell, on this call, in this waiting room.

You are not what happened to you. You are not what you did. You are healed, whole, and free — because He already finished it. Stand on that today, not on how you feel.

August 5, 2026 is a Wednesday. Angle: you are who God says you are, His word over every label.

That file they've got on you — the charges, the mistakes, the labels other people slapped on you — that's not the final word on who you are. Somebody else's opinion of you, even the DOC's opinion of you, even your own opinion of you when you're being hardest on yourself, is not the deciding vote.

There's another opinion in the room. God's opinion. And His opinion isn't based on what you did — it's based on what Jesus already did. He doesn't call you by your worst day. He calls you His own. He calls you redeemed. He calls you new.

You get to choose whose voice defines you. The label they gave you at intake, or the Word He speaks over you every single day you're breathing. Those aren't the same thing, and you don't have to let them agree with each other.

Practice saying it back to Him: "I am who You say I am." Not "I hope to be." Not "I'm trying to become." Already. Now. Today. In that cell, in that waiting room, at that kitchen table wondering if your loved one is okay in there — His word stands over every label anyone's ever put on you.

You're not what they call you. You're who He says you are.

August 4, 2026 is a Tuesday — angle: transformed by the renewing of your mind, seeing yourself differently changes everything.

You've probably spent years seeing yourself through bars, through paperwork, through the worst thing you ever did. That view feels permanent. But God never designed your mind to stay stuck on a loop of shame and old evidence. He designed it to be renewed.

Renewing your mind isn't positive thinking or pretending your past didn't happen. It's letting God's opinion of you become louder than every other voice — the judge's, the guard's, the cellmate's, even your own inner critic. When His opinion becomes visible in how you carry yourself, that's not denial. That's glory showing up where shame used to live.

Here's the truth: how you see yourself changes what you build. If you keep agreeing with the old file, you'll keep living out of it. But if you start agreeing with what God says — redeemed, forgiven, new — your thoughts, your choices, your letters home, your plans for release, all of it starts shifting.

You are not required to stay who you were. Romans 12:2 says be transformed by the renewing of your mind. That transformation starts today, right where you are, one thought at a time. Let His view of you become your view of you.

August 3, 2026 is a Monday. Angle: old things are passed away, your past died with Christ.

Sermon chosen: "Self Rejected, Self Revealed"

---

Here's something that might surprise you: the Fall wasn't first a rejection of God. It was a rejection of self. Eve didn't run from God in the garden — she questioned who she was, and that's where the distance started. That same pattern plays out in a lot of lives, including behind bars. You start believing the file, the sentence, the worst thing you ever did is the truest thing about you. So you reject yourself before anyone else gets the chance to.

But hear this today: that old identity — the one built on shame, on what you did, on what they call you — it died. It's already passed away. "If any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new" (2 Corinthians 5:17). Not "will become new." Already are.

You don't have to keep carrying yesterday into today. The version of you that made those choices was buried with Christ, and what got raised up is new — clean record, fresh start, real identity. That's not wishful thinking. That's finished work.

If you're waiting for permission to let go of your past, this is it. God already let go of it. Now it's your turn.

August 2, 2026 is a Sunday.

You don't have to earn your way back to who you are. You already are who Christ made you the moment you came into Him.

Somewhere along the way, somebody handed you a label. Inmate. Failure. Addict. Statistic. Maybe you even started believing it, repeating it to yourself in the mirror on the hardest days. But labels written by a courtroom or a past mistake were never meant to be your identity. They don't get the final word.

Pastor Tommy Miller has been teaching that when the woman caught in adultery stood before Jesus, He didn't deny what she'd done — He simply refused to let it define her. He looked past the accusation straight to who she really was, in union with Him. That's doxa: not the world's estimate of you, but God's.

If you are in Christ, you are a new creation. Old things passed away — not just your actions, but the entire identity that was built on top of them. You are not a record. You are not a file number. You are not the worst thing you ever did. You are His, seated in Him, called by His name.

Today, whether you're behind bars, walking back into the world, or holding on for someone you love — receive this: your identity was never up for a vote. It's already settled in Him.
