UPDATE!!
We have decided that out of concern for everyone’s safety we are going to go ahead and cancel Friday’s race. We just went out and inspected the ground and there has been no change. We will keep everyone posted on what we decide to do from here. We already have buckles and everything so we will be finding a way to put on both races so stay tuned! We have a few fun ideas!

We were notified by a couple people that the ground at the arena in Winnie has gotten even worse than it has been, and we went out and confirmed that is true. We have called several times in the last few days and are unable to get in touch with maintenance. We are not in charge of the maintenance of the arena, and we pay a very high price for use of the arena. If we are not able to get the ground reworked to where we feel it will be safe for every horse and rider, we will have to either cancel the race or move venues. We will keep y'all posted as soon as we have updates.
