We had the honor of delivering right under $1,700 in gift cards — 81 in total — to Texas Children’s Hospital. 💛

These donations were made to the Little Warrior Foundation throughout the month of January in celebration of Austyn’s 13th birthday. What an incredible way to honor a life that continues to shine so brightly.

These gift cards will be placed into the hands of families on the oncology unit — families who are walking incredibly hard roads, just like so many of our dear friends. It means more than words can say to be able to give back in this way.

To everyone who donated, shared, prayed, and supported — thank you. You are a part of this. You are a part of something bigger. Because of you, Austyn’s light continues to reach others, bringing comfort, love, and hope when it’s needed most.

We feel it. We see it. And we will continue to carry it forward. 💛

Today is the last day of September, but the fight is not over. Our warrior friend, Crockett Abraham: A Fight Against Medulloblastoma, needs our prayers and help today. He is undergoing surgery this morning, so let’s lift him, his family, and his doctors up in prayer.

As a parent, you never imagine hearing the words, "your child has cancer". It changes your life. But, the love and support of so many help carry you through the hard days.

Please send up some extra prayers 💛 if you would like to support Crockett with a monetary donation we are still raffling off a Turtlebox Ranger, $10 a chance and all the proceeds will go directly to his family. But most of all PRAY!

We sadly don’t have great news to share this afternoon. Our hearts are broken… The MRI from this morning shows that the tumor in his brain is larger and not responding to chemo. There are a lot of moving parts happening quickly, even as I type, but tonight we are transferring him to Texas Children’s Hospital main campus in Houston to prepare for another brain surgery to remove this tumor. It will be at some point this week.

He has quite a bit of fluid building up in the center of his brain, which is the cause for the headaches that started back up. He is still in a lot of pain, and they’ve had to pull out the strong medications to try to bring him some relief.

His port was removed successfully today & they stitched him up and placed a drain in his chest to help relieve some of the swelling and pressure there. They may also need to do another procedure once we get to TCH to manage the fluid building up in his head until his blood counts recover enough from chemo to safely operate to remove the tumor. It’s going to be a careful wait-and-see process to determine the best time to go in and the surgery team wants him on their campus to monitor him there.

This surgery carries even greater risks than before, mostly because his immune system has been wiped out by the chemo recently. We are about to wade into some very murky waters, but we cling to the One who calms the storm. “God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…” -Psalm 46:1–2.

We are trusting that the Lord goes before us in this transfer to a different hospital and also in to the operating room later this week! We need your prayers more than ever!! Prayers for wisdom, strength, protection, comfort, and miraculous healing for our sweet boy! May His will be done, and may His glory be seen in every step of this part of the journey!!!

Wow! I think it’s safe to say all 3 board members (Jessica, Jennifer, & Sarah), along with our families are truly in awe of last night’s event. We were so humbled to have Kayla share her daughter, Kaygan’s, story with us all. Her message proved just how much more research needs to be done for these WARRIORS. The need for new medications, and better treatment plans are critical for them. That’s why we are thrilled to be able to send over a 100k to St Jude’s! This night could not have been possible without the help of the sponsors, the volunteers, and the attendees. Together this community, our tribe, WILL and CAN make a difference. Thank you so much for Going Gold!
