Winn 4-H

Winn 4-H Join the Revolution of Responsibility, that is the Winn Parish 4-H program.

Winn Parish 4-H’s purpose is to reach the youth of our parish with un-biased, research based information and to provide “hands on” learning through practical application. The work that Winn Parish 4-H does in and with the schools enhances the Louisiana Grade Level Expectations. Winn Parish 4-H provides numerous opportunities for youth and families at low cost; everyone is welcome. There are animal

projects, target sport projects, leadership projects, community service projects and so much more right here in Winn Parish 4-H. 4-H is able to further opportunities through scholarships. Most importantly, research validates that 4-H’ers succeed, they stay in school, they become contributing citizens and the leaders of our state. Not only does 4-H prepare young people for tomorrow, it also gives them the strength to face today.

Hello Livestock Community,

Only a couple of days until the deadline to order DNA Kits online for the Market Steers, if haven't order yet.

Only a couple of days until the Possession Deadline for Market Steers, turn into the State Fair of Louisiana Livestock office.

Please use Priority mail in case it gets lost when sending it in.

Please do not wait until the last minute to order the DNA kits. These days we have snail mail, we don't have Paul Revere delivering anymore.
