Our Annual Awards Banquet is next Monday (May 4th) at 6PM at South Winnfield Baptist Church! All current WSHS FFA members get in for free, all others are $10 (Meal Included). All First and Second Year FFA members will receive recognition, as well as all competitors and our seniors.

This week Gustavo Vargas, Jewel Boudreaux, and Bella Godwin attended Louisiana FFA State Spring Judging Events held at LSU. Gustavo and Jewel placed in the top ten in Small Engines! Bella helped document the journey as she builds her Ag Communications portfolio!

Tuesday we traveled to Northwestern State University for the Area II CDEs! Our members competed in Veterinary Science, Nursery/Landscape, Floriculture, Milk Quality, Electricity, and Small Engines. Congratulations to Jewel Boudreaux and Gustavo Vargas for placing 2nd in Small Engines and advancing to the state competition later this month!
