On behalf of Louisiana FFA, we want to express our prayers and deepest condolences to the Camp family, Calvin FFA, and their community for the tragic loss of veteran Ag Teacher Chad Camp. Kevin Chad Camp, dedicated husband, father, teacher, and coach, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the age of 51. Chad was born the oldest of three children to Julius and Sarah Camp in Alexandria, Louisiana on May 8, 1971. He graduated from Winnfield Senior

Our forestry team placed third at both state and area in this school year. The blue team consisted of Gunnar Yocum, Kate Dupree, Wyatt Bedgood, and Emma Canerday. Emma Canerday, a junior, placed high individual in both area and state. She received two scholarships to Louisiana Tech.

Our chapter’s vet science team competed in nationals in Indianapolis, Indiana. The team consisted of, left to right, Emma Canerday, Gunnar Yocum, Kate Dupree, and Kaylie Canerday. They overall had a silver plaque.
