Our Residential Program spent a beautiful day at Pasadena's Black History Month Festival last Saturday. It was a celebration of Strength, Culture, and Community as the event carried special significance, marking one year since the Eaton Fire.

Residents experienced youth performances from local middle and high schools, live entertainment highlighting Pasadena's diverse cultural voices and lively atmosphere filled with food vendors and community resource booths. But beyond the festivities, it was a space for learning, shared experiences and meaningful community engagement!

All last week, participants at our day programs celebrated with crafts, treats, and heart-filled activities, while our residents enjoyed a Valentine’s picnic at the park.

Some moments don’t make noise, but they mean everything.

Like the way Juanita gently fixes Donna’s blanket, smoothing the corners just right so she feels safe, comfortable, and seen.

These quiet acts of care happen every day at Momentum Valley Village. Not because they’re required, but because our caregivers lead with heart. As National Family Caregivers Month comes to a close, and as we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, we want to say thank you.
To the caregivers who lift, comfort, steady, listen, soothe, and show up with love in a thousand quiet ways.

You make our homes feel like family.
