💪14 hours. THAT'S how much time was scheduled for sports clinics during the Tri-State FCA Sports Camp. Great plays. Intense competition. Skill development. And a lot of perspiration.

But our sports clinics are more than that...

THROUGH SPORT, our coaches and Huddle Leaders pour into the young athletes relationally and spiritually. Prayer, testimonies, devotionals, and biblical mentorship are all part of this time, drawing everyone closer to Jesus☝️

🫶That's a wrap for our FIRST ever Tri-State FCA Sports Camp at the University of Dubuque! And while camp may have ended, in many ways this is just the beginning for THIS camp and our 183 campers who attended.

MANY campers (50+ !!!) made FIRST-TIME commitments to Jesus Christ, including Northern Illinois athletes. For one, an Auburn High School wrestler, who we have had a relationship with for a few years stood up to accept Christ on Thursday evening! 🙌

Today, with a grateful and sincere heart, we thank Clayton and Cathy Midtsem for their faithfulness in their ministry with FCA, and congratulations on their retirement from FCA staff.

Clay joined FCA staff in November 2017, and has served Northern Illinois as both Area Director and Area Representative. His almost 10 years have been a display of humility and dedication, with MANY coaches and athletes not only hearing the GOOD NEWS of Jesus Christ, but also seeing his example.

Cathy joined FCA staff in December 2023, serving alongside Clay as an Administrative Assistant. While Cathy has helped in MANY ways, hearing the stories of young athletes feeling engaged and seen when she serves their sport by taking AMAZING photos of their games has been a highlight.

Thank you Clay and Cathy! 🫶

In the last year, FCA has distributed 244,650 Bibles! New FCA Bibles combine the LIFE-TRANSFORMING word with resources created to equip coaches and athletes of all abilities to live out their faith in every area of life, reaching new audiences across sports environments.
