Wingo Lions Club

I think I counted 22 of us gathered together for the Kids’ Community Art Club this past Tuesday! We had a great time getting out in nature, and drawing what we see! 💕🎨💕
🤗 A big special “Thank You!” goes to Kristina & Becky from the Graves County Conservation District office, who came out and spent time with our group!!! We learned A LOT Ladies, and we hope to get hang out with y’all again, sometime soon!! 🧡🍁💛

☝️Please note: The Kids’ Art Club meeting, previously scheduled for October 20th, is currently being cancelled, due to several schedule conflicts. 🥺

🙏Please “follow” our Wingo Lions Club FB page for future updates about kids’ art club, and all the other community events that we have planned!!

Thank y’all always for all of your support of the Wingo Lions Club, and our community building efforts!! 🤗

☝️ Reminder!! Kids’ Community Art Club is meeting tomorrow, 10am-12pm, on October 6th!! We are meeting at the lion’s building as usual, but the weather is beautiful y’all, so expect to be headed out on a little walking adventure down the “Wingo Rails to Trails” if you are joining us tomorrow!

We ALSO have a special “expert guests” planning in joining us tomorrow, who can help field questions about tree species identification!! 🥳🥳🥳 (I always get lots of great kid questions about it when we do this, so backup is greatly appreciated! 😆)

We will be visually exploring what’s around us, practicing drawing & coloring what we see, maybe learning a thing or two, and simply enjoying some time together, out in nature on this beautiful “Fall Break”. 🧡🍁💛

Please Note: Every kid is always welcome at the Kids’ Community Art Club at ANY time!! (No signups necessary; parents please plan to stay!)

Also, if you have a sketchbook already, you’re welcome to bring it! I’ll have drawing paper and clipboards on hand too.

I can’t wait to see lots of old & new friends in the morning! 💕🎨💕

p.s. If you get there late tomorrow, and the door is locked, we can be found over on the walking trail (entrance by the red caboose 🚂😉). 🍁🍂🍁
