The Ribbon Run 5k run/walk and 10k run was established in 2013 to help educate those faced with cancer, in addition to awareness and research. The first annual event was on July 20th 2013 in Wing, North Dakota (as part of our Wing Community Day Celebration). All proceeds for this event go to the Bismarck Cancer Center. This event was inspired by Theresa Marquart, who was diagnosed with pancreatic

cancer in February of 2012. The run/walk is not only about raising money for a great cause, but it's about pushing your own limits, doing something for the good of others, and staying strong and focused through the tough times. With your support, we will continue to grow the event each year.
