What an AWESOME turnout we had at our Pack Open House last night!
It was so great seeing our returning Scouts back together and welcoming so many new and potential families who came out to see what Cub Scouting and Pack 406 are all about!
Our Scouts and visitors grabbed their Passport to Adventure and made their way through six different stations, completing an activity and earning a stamp at each stop!
š Learned about the Cub Scout uniform
š¹ Built and launched popsicle stick catapults
šļø Checked out the fun of the Pinewood Derby
šæ Sampled some delicious Scout popcorn
š£ Tried their hand at fishing
āµ Experienced the Rain Gutter Regatta
Once they collected all six stamps, they found Cubmaster Jenny to claim their treasure!
We even had our awesome Den Chiefs from Scouting America Troop 88, Winfield, IN there to lend a hand, help out with the younger Scouts, and, of course, join in on some of the fun themselves! We love having our older Scouts involved and showing our Cubs where their Scouting adventures can take them.
A huge THANK YOU to our leaders, Den Chiefs, Scouts, parents, and everyone who helped run stations and make the night such a success. We loved meeting all the new families and watching the kids jump right into the fun!
And this is only the beginning of the adventure!
If you werenāt able to make it last night but are interested in joining Pack 406, youāre still welcome to come to our Parent & Registration Night on Thursday, August 27th at 6 PM at the Church of Four Seasons. Weāll answer questions, go over what families can expect this year, and help get everyone ready for another great year of Scouting!
Adventure is calling⦠come join Pack 406!
