June 27th - Community members are invited to come together for the TyStrong Car Show, a fundraising event dedicated to supporting local teen Ty Laughery, who was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. The event will take place from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Winfield Baptist Church, located at 12902 Winfield Rd, Winfield, WV.

The TyStrong Car Show is more than a car event - it is a community effort to stand alongside Ty and his family during his treatment journey. Known throughout Winfield for his kindness, strength, and love for others, Ty has inspired an outpouring of support from friends, neighbors, and community organizations.

Car and motorcycle enthusiasts are encouraged to participate, with an entry fee of $10 per vehicle. The show will feature Top 25 awards, along with category recognitions including Best Mopar, Best Ford, Best GM, Best Truck, Best Import, Best Engine Bay, Best Paint, and Best in Show.

In addition to the vehicle showcase, attendees can enjoy a variety of attractions, including food trucks, music, raffle baskets, and a 50/50 raffle. Spectator admission is free, making it an accessible event for families and supporters of all ages.

Registration will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and participants are encouraged to pre-register by scanning the event QR code to skip the line on event day. All proceeds from the event will go directly to the Laughery family to assist with medical expenses and ongoing support during Ty’s treatment.
