Today, the Lincoln County Commission officially recognized June as Roadway Safety Month.

79 Safe was grateful for the opportunity to attend, share a brief update on the work being done throughout the Highway 79 corridor, and thank the Commission for their continued partnership and support.

One thing that stood out today was hearing from community members and local leaders who took a moment to thank 79 Safe for its efforts. Those conversations serve as a reminder that roadway safety is not the work of any one person, organization, or agency. It takes schools, first responders, businesses, local governments, community organizations, and residents all working toward the same goal.

What started as a conversation has grown into a collaborative effort across Lincoln and St. Charles Counties, and we are grateful for everyone who has chosen to be part of it.

Thank you to the Lincoln County Commission for recognizing Roadway Safety Month and to all of our partners who continue to help move the conversation forward.

Today, 79 Safe had the opportunity to attend the City of Moscow Mills Board of Aldermen meeting as June was recognized as Roadway Safety Month.

More than the proclamation itself, we’re grateful for the conversations, support, and willingness of local leaders to engage in making our roads safer. Every opportunity to share data, discuss solutions, and build partnerships helps move the conversation forward.

Today allowed us to connect with community members, city leadership, and residents who may not have otherwise heard about the work being done through 79 Safe.

Thank you to the City of Moscow Mills for your support, and thank you to everyone who continues to be part of this effort. We are looking forward to recognizing Roadway Safety Month throughout June and continuing to work together toward safer roads for all.

The goal isn’t just getting a license. It’s making it home.

Our first First Impact session filled, and we’re excited to offer a second opportunity for Lincoln County families.

This FREE 90-minute program is designed for parents and teen drivers and covers Missouri’s Graduated Driver License law, common crash risks, and practical ways parents can help keep their teens safe behind the wheel.

We were honored to receive a proclamation from the City of O’Fallon recognizing June as Roadway Safety Month during the “100 Deadliest Days of Summer.”

Thank you to Mayor Bill Hennessy and the City of O’Fallon for supporting roadway safety awareness and the work being done through 79 Safe.

What started as conversations around Highway 79 has grown into partnerships with local governments, first responders, schools, businesses, and community members who all share the same goal—safer roads for everyone.
