Winfield Human Relations Commission Through positive exchanges among all members of the community, the goal of the HRC is to extend goodwill and eliminate prejudice and misunderstandings.

The HRC promotes and encourages respectful diversity of voices in the community through conversations regardless of race, socio-economic disparity, sexual orientation, or religious affiliations. Composed of a minimum of 7 members, the Human Relations Commission meets monthly on the 4th Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in the meeting room of the Winfield Public Library, 605 College St. Members serve 3-year ter

The purpose of the Human Relations Commission is to eliminate prejudice and misunderstanding among the various ethnic, religious and social groups in Winfield and to further goodwill among such groups. It holds hearings upon complaints alleging discriminatory or unlawful practice in employment, public accommodations and housing.
