Due to unforeseen circumstances we will be rescheduling the annual bass fishing tournament that is scheduled for tomorrow July 25th 2026. The president of Bass Nation is out of town and there isn’t anyone to run the certified scales.

We deeply apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

All with the Putnam County Deputy Sheriff’s Association are sending prayers towards Bass Nation of WV.

Be on the lookout for the rescheduled date!

This morning the Putnam County Deputy Sheriff Association members, Putnam County Day Report, Poca Volunteer Fire Department and family members (some not pictured) with the help of Target in Teays Valley was able to successfully purchase Christmas gifts for 27 children within the Putnam County area. This program would not be a success without the publics help through our fundraising events through out the year. Thank you to all that donated in any way possible to make sure the children we sponsor are able to wake up to a wonderful Christmas morning.
