We had a great day with the Dexter FFA chapter at their Day on the Farm event.

Enjoyed spending time with the kids and sharing a bit about soil health and why it matters. They asked some great questions and made it a fun afternoon!

Here’s an exciting opportunity for our older youth!

If you have an upcoming high school sophomore, junior, or senior who is interested in agriculture, livestock, wildlife, or the outdoors, this is for them!

The CCCD has TWO scholarships available to attend the Kansas Youth Range Camp this summer. Campers will learn about plant identification, plant growth, stocking rates, livestock nutrition, and rangeland wildlife management — all while enjoying field trips, hands-on activities, hiking, and more!

We had a fantastic evening tonight at our Annual Meeting, reflecting on the past year’s accomplishments and celebrating some very deserving award recipients. It’s always so inspiring to gather with so many people who are passionate about conservation and the future of our natural resources.
