Atiana has worked hard to build a life she can be proud of.

After experiencing neglect and trauma throughout her childhood and stepping into independence without the support she needed, she’s determined to create the stability for her family that she never had. Today, she works full-time, is pursuing a degree in the legal field, and is building a future filled with hope.

But carrying the weight of bills while staying on top of a car loan can make that future feel a little harder to reach.

When Atiana’s dream of car payment assistance was fulfilled, it gave her two months of breathing room to focus on other expenses and keep moving forward.

More than financial relief, her dream reminded her that she isn’t alone. That her hard work is seen. And that her dreams matter.

Toron is resilient, loyal, and determined. His long-term goal is not only to achieve stability for himself, but to use his experiences to mentor and encourage young people in his community.

Toron is dreaming of becoming a security professional, but a lack of reliable transportation is standing in the way. 🛴

An electric scooter would help him safely get to job interviews, work, and school while creating greater independence as he builds his future.

They didn’t choose to grow up without a family. But many are expected to navigate adulthood without one.

Every year, more than 23,000 young people age out of foster care at just 18, often without the family safety net so many of us take for granted.

At Dream Makers, we believe turning 18 shouldn’t mean facing adulthood alone. We come alongside aged-out foster youth as they pursue education, careers, independence, and the dreams they’ve worked so hard for.

Trisani has a clear vision for her future. After three years in foster care, she aged out and faced the difficult reality of navigating adulthood on her own, often struggling to find the right resources and stability. Still, she never let go of her dream.

She is now studying restaurant management, fueled by her love of cooking and her desire to one day own her own restaurant. More than anything, she wants to build a future that feels safe, secure, and completely different from her past.

When her dream of a laptop was fulfilled, it became more than just a device. It became consistency. Organization. Access. It gave her the ability to stay on top of assignments, manage her schedule, and fully engage with the resources available to help her succeed.

That support brought her one step closer to finishing her degree and one step closer to opening the doors of her own restaurant someday.

⏳ Izzy’s dream has been waiting the longest.

After aging out of foster care, Izzy has worked hard to build an independent future. She recently moved into her first apartment, started a new job as a chef, and is preparing to begin beauty school to pursue her dream of becoming a licensed cosmetologist.
