Oftentimes, donors are not even aware of organizations in their own neighborhood. Animal charities are in need of donations, supplies, volunteers and more to meet the needs of the animals in their care. Man
y of these organizations do not (or are unable to due to finances, resources, manpower, ability, etc.) make full use of internet technology to promote their mission or to publicize their needs. By providing a website location to post their organization’s name and most relevant need and current wish list, DonorsChooseAnimals.org provides these groups increased exposure to citizens across New England. With the use of internet technologies such as social media tools, electronic newsletters, promotional flyers and calendar events, DonorsChooseAnimals.org will promote and advertise on the organization’s behalf.
