Windsor Educational Foundation Non-Profit Organization Supporting All Windsor Schools

The Windsor Educational Foundation is a partnership between the Windsor School District, teachers, school administrators, parents, local businesses, and the Windsor community at large coming together to enhance educational excellence in all Windsor schools. The WE Foundation works with its partners to identify needs through grant requests, scholarships and other fund raising programs.

Thank you to SchoolsRule Sonoma County for funding new sports equipment at Brooks Elementary School in Windsor! After receiving a $12,361.49 grant from SchoolsRule at the beginning of the 2025-26 school year, the WE Foundation contacted each public school in the Windsor Unified School District (WUSD), encouraging them to seek funding to support students in a variety of areas, including STEAM and student well-being. Brooks Elementary let us know their sports equipment was insufficient and in need of replacement for students at this 3rd to 5th grade campus, and received $1,000 to purchase new badminton sets, basketballs, soccer balls, volleyballs, dodgeballs, and more. WE look forward to students returning to campus in just 2 weeks (and 2 days) and having plenty of sports equipment to choose from before school and at lunch and recess each day!

WE are truly grateful for Alberto Botello, who once again sponsored the WE Foundation Scholarship Program at our 10th Annual Scholarship Breakfast! Alberto is a Windsor High School grad, and has served on every scholarship review committee since our program's inception, helping review scholarship applications and determine scholarship award recipients. Alberto is also involved in the planning of tonight's fireworks show at Keiser Park: Windsor Kaboom, which helps raise money for youth causes in our community.
