Windsor Historical Society Office hours are by appointment. The Windsor Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of the history of the Town Of Windsor.

In fulfilling this goal, the Society collects, preserves, and interprets genealogical, biographical, and historical matter pertaining to the Town of Windsor; makes its resources accessible to researchers, genealogists, and the general public; and promotes awareness of and interest in Windsor’s history and heritage. l only share photographs and photos of artifacts from the Windsor Historical Society collection that are directly related to the history of the town of Windsor.

This Sunday, 5 October, Jeff Amestoy, former Vermont attorney general and state supreme court chief justice, will present a lecture on Darrow’s involvement based on his new book, "Winters’ Time: A Secret Pledge, a Severed Head, and the Murder that Brought America’s Most Famous Lawyer to Vermont", published by Vermont Historical Society.
Amestoy will sell and sign copies of his book afterward. This WVHA event is free, refreshments will be offered, and all are welcome.
