Check it out! Our museum got a glow-up this afternoon, with three beautiful (and historically appropriate!)windows installed by Jack Sobon, with help from Glenn Roy. This is just a start -- lots of windows to go -- but it feels great. Commission members Kristina Almquist and Gregg Pattison helped make it happen, glazing and painting the custom sashes with a hand from some of the other members.

Heading to the Cummington Fair this weekend? Check out the historical displays in the main hall! We decided to highlight sugaring and dairy this year, and included the miniature Bird Sugar House built by Ralph Peck in the 1970s.

Once, it was weedy, uneven, squishy in spots and littered with dead leaves. Now it's perfect! Thank you, Town of Windsor...

Talk about Christmas in July! There we were, just hanging out at our scheduled open house yesterday afternoon, when Melody Lincoln walked in with her hands full of attic treasures...including beautiful hand-tinted photographic portraits of her Windsor ancestors. What a wonderful gift! We will do our best to take proper care of these bits of our town's history.
