So perfect said.
The best horses in Heaven they have no tail. This is a rule they all know without fail. For when a new horse arrives with a short cut bob, they all know that this horse did a very good job. His owner could not bear to part with her friend so she saved his tail, wrapped in ribbons and in braids,to hold with his memory in a very loving way. To enter Heaven without a tail is an honor,a message, that without fail announces to everyone, far and wide that this horse was more than a wonderful ride. But this horse was loved and cherished by one and when his time serving on this Earth was done he left behind a broken heart 💔and a soul from which he never will part.
I have had to bury Trooper, Fling, Lucky, Max, Miss Kitty, Captain Morgan so far over our 26 years here and I hold the tails of each and everyone of them. We still have 2 horses left, R***r and Duke, Duke will be 30 next month, I've had him since he was 3 and we have covered so many miles together and such wonderful memories, Im so scared of what impact it will have on me the day we have to say " see you on the otherside" . I have set aside funds to cover his cremation so that when I go our ashes can ride the wind together again. I have had so many wonderful 4 legged babies from all sorts of breeds and species and a few feathered friends too, but theres only been 4 that has had such impact on me that their faces never fade as the years have passed, JD , Milo, Cowboy and My sweet sweet Romeo that a day doesn't pass that his memory haunts me and I cry since that horrible day he was killed on Feb 24.2018. I wish today I had had him cremated but the circumstances didnt work out. He is buried and beautiful flowers bloom every year. It breaks my heart to see the reports of so many abused or discarded animals by such heartless people , on some days I just cant open my Facebook account, both personal and my rescue page. So all you animal lovers out there , please report any abuse or take actions to help and save God's creatures he put on earth and made us their care takers.
