Northeast Livestock Exposition

Northeast Livestock Exposition The Northeast Livestock Exposition is held every third weekend in May at the Windsor Fairgrounds, Windsor, Maine.

The livestock expo draws beef cattle, sheep, boer goats, rabbits, equine, alpaca and other livestock for shows, educational events, youth activities and auctions.

We had an amazing time this weekend at NELE! So thankful for all of the volunteers, sponsors, speakers, judges, and exhibitors who showed up and put on a great event.

It was great to see youth with a passion for agriculture who came ready to learn and engage with mentors!

Think you can judge cattle like a pro? Put your beef cattle evaluation skills to the test in this fun judging contest for adults ages 22+.

Windsor Fairgrounds

Participants will evaluate and place cattle classes in traditional judging contest format, with official placings set by Dr. Zach McFarlane of Cal Poly.

• $5 donation per class to participate
• Top 5 scorers split the prize pot
• Bragging rights on the line

This fundraiser supports Northeast Livestock Expo (NELE) and continued agricultural education opportunities in Maine.
