It’s that time of year again, hope you can join us Saturday the 19th for dinner, a live auction and a great time. $15 per person tickets available at the door starting around 4:30 with dinner around 5:00. Water, iced tea and coffee will be available or BYOB if those options don’t quench your thirst.

Our first annual “Grumpy old man” fishing derby was a great morning around the pond, Congratulations to our trophy winners, Biggest Fish: Dave Taft, First fish: Glenn Hastie, most fish: Janet Royce. We can’t wait to build on this event in the coming years.

While we love having kids come to the pond for our derby, we are trying something different next weekend. Our first annual “Grumpy Old Man” fishing derby, anyone age 60 and up is welcome, please register on the Windsor Rec website or call 674-6783. With community pig roast to follow. Join us for a fun filled family day.

It is time to register for our annual spring fishing derby. Saturday May 16th 2 sessions 9am-11am or 5pm-7pm, choose a session and come have a great time. Food and drinks will be provided for both sessions. We will have bait available and a few extra poles around if needed. Head over to The Windsor Rec website to register.

Had a great day working with the State Forester Saturday in a newly developed beaver pond in the Windsor Grasslands WMA (prison farm)
We protected some apple trees with fencing and cleaned up some trees and brush to allow the apples to flourish again. Always feels good to give back to our local wildlife while helping VT Fish and Game get some much needed help in the woods.

Join us Friday evening at the Windsor Fairgrounds for this fun new event. We will be scooping up some wild game chili with some for sale also. 🦌🫎🐻
