As you know, we’ve worked together closely on Climate Lobby Day to bring hundreds of Coloradans into conversations with their legislators about bold, equitable climate action. The Constituent Climate Project builds on that momentum by training and equipping community members year-round to educate elected officials with localized data, personal stories, and campaign-specific information. Sustainable Windsor Colorado has just released our training for 2025 to coincide with Earth Day 2025. As many of you may remember – last year we provided training on the “basics” of recycling. We discussed waste diversion in general and offered some suggestions on how to be a better “recycler”. This year we are focused on food waste and plastics – two of the most vexing waste issues that we have. Also – this year – we are providing offers from some local businesses – so be sure to check them out.
