On Friday, Windsor FFA attended the Newton Invitational and Section 20 Livestock Judging contest.

Team members included Elle Walker, Kaylin Saunders, Alexis Gee, Paisley Montgomery, Grace Mast, Madison Sears, and Seth Rincker. Students evaluated swine, sheep, goats, and cattle.

The team was 8th overall in Section 20. Grace placed 21st in the Section, 4th in cattle, and 5th in placings.

The Windsor FFA attended the Illinois Ag Legislative Day at the Capital. Students delivered Agriculture goodie baskets and lunches to some of our state senators and representatives. Additionally, students discussed the importance of Agriculture and how it impacts their lives inside and outside the classroom.

Tonight was the 80th Annual Windsor FFA Banquet.

The Windsor FFA has been very busy the past couple of months with contests and chapter events.

Up first, the team placed 7th overall at the Illinois Beef Expo judging contest. Congratulations to Brody for placing 6th overall individually.

The freshman have also been very active in trying out judging events like poultry and dairy cattle judging.

Windsor also celebrated our makeup Anything but a car day originally planned for FFA Week.

To wrap up our March events, Seth, Elle, and Madi attended the Lake Land College Livestock Judging Contest. Seth placed 20th overall individually.

Congratulations to the Windsor FFA Dairy judging team for their 3rd place finish! Paisley Montgomery placed 7th overall and Kaylin Saunders placed 9th overall!
