Aces High Team 176 was honored to participate in the 2026 Connecticut Manufacturing Innovation Forum Youth Innovators Hall of Fame on September 1, recognizing the team’s commitment to STEM education, robotics, innovation, and advanced manufacturing.
The statewide forum brought together manufacturers, educators, workforce development leaders, and industry innovators to discuss emerging technologies, workforce development, and the future of Connecticut manufacturing.
Team 176 was the only FIRST Robotics team invited to participate in this year’s forum, joining VEX V5 Team Blue Dragon and Avon High School’s Engineering and Manufacturing Pathway in representing Connecticut’s youth STEM community. The invitation was a direct recognition of the team’s achievements throughout the 2026 season, highlighted by winning the Autonomous Award at the FIRST World Championship.
We were especially honored to receive the Manufacturing Innovation Hall of Fame Award, presented by Senator Richard Blumenthal. This recognition reflects the dedication and accomplishments of our students and mentors.
A special thank-you to Nate, Jack, and Sawyer for representing Aces High and accepting the award on behalf of the team.
