⚾🥎 WINDHAM LITTLE LEAGUE ANNUAL ELECTIONS — DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO HELP LEAD OUR LEAGUE? 🥎⚾
Windham Little League will hold its **Annual Elections on Monday, November 2 at 5:30 PM at the Windham Town Hall Conference Room.
Windham Little League is a volunteer-run organization. The success of our league depends on parents, coaches, community members, and others who are willing to give their time and talents to provide a great baseball and softball experience for the children of our community.
As we prepare for another year, we have several positions available and would love to welcome some new faces, new ideas, and new energy to our board.
📋 OPEN POSITIONS
• Safety Officer
• VP Softball Majors
• VP Baseball Majors
• VP Farm League
• Player Agent
• Equipment Manager
• Concessions – additional help/co-lead needed
• Umpire in Chief – additional help/co-lead needed
⏰ WHAT IS THE COMMITMENT?
We understand that everyone has busy schedules. Serving on the Windham Little League Board does not mean giving up every night or every weekend.
Each elected board position carries a two-year commitment. This gives board members the opportunity to learn their position, become comfortable with their responsibilities, and provide consistency for the league from season to season.
Our regular board meetings are held on the first Monday of the month, and we typically hold nine meetings per year.
The amount of additional time required varies by position. Some roles are busier during certain parts of the season, while others require only a few hours here and there throughout the year.
Most importantly, you won't be doing it alone. We work together as a board, share responsibilities, and help one another when things get busy.
And you do not need years of Little League experience to get involved. If you're willing to help and willing to learn, we'll help you understand the position and get started.
⚾🥎 DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?
Do you have ideas that could make Windham Little League even better?
Would you like to have a voice in decisions that affect our players and families?
Are you willing to give some of your time to help create a positive baseball and softball experience for the kids in our community?
Then we'd love to hear from you.
Whether you've been involved with Windham Little League for years, are a parent of a new player, have coached in the past, or simply want to give back to your community, there may be a place for you on our team.
