We want to offer our apologies for needing to leave the Pot Recycling event early today. This annual effort is important to us and to the community, and we appreciate everyone who came by before we had to close.

If you still have plant pots or containers you hoped to drop off, we’d still love to take them. Just send an email to [email protected], and we’ll arrange for pickup and make sure they get a second life at next year’s plant sale.

Thank you for your understanding, and your ongoing support for keeping plastic out of the waste stream.

Plant Pot Recycling - Thursday May 28 and Saturday May 30

Got empty plant pots from all your plantings?

Drop off at the Windham Transfer Station Thursday May 28 or Saturday May 30 from 9:00am - 12:00pm. Look for the Windham Garden Club members collecting the pots!

Also interested in any decorative ceramic, clay, cement, window box or other plant pots/planters!

Windham Garden Club Seeking Garden Treasures!

Are you spring cleaning, downsizing, or preparing for a move? Do you have gently used garden items ready to be rehomed? Let us turn your special treasures into someone else’s delight!

The Windham Garden Club is collecting used garden items for our Garden Treasures table at our Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, May 16. We are looking for items such as:
• Vintage or gently used garden tools
• Garden wheelbarrows, carts and wagons
• Ceramic or cement pots, planters, and urns
• Large decorative plastic pots
• Plant stands and hangers
• Garden décor, ornaments, and figurines
• Bird baths, birdhouses, and bird feeders
• Fountains, rain barrels, or composters

One gardener’s castoff can be another’s perfect find! To donate or learn more, contact Joanne at [email protected] .
Please note: we kindly ask no chemicals, potting soil, garden hoses, magazines, or books due to safety and storage limitations.
All proceeds from our Plant Sale are reinvested right here in Windham, supporting our Nancy Surette Memorial Scholarships (two $2,000 awards) and the Arthur Baker Community Investment Grants - your donation truly makes a difference!
