News in Maine WINDHAM MATTERS is a outreach program of River of Hope and Tree of Life Assembly of God both in Windham Maine.

Together we share our appreciation by posts and bringing needed items, snacks, and gifts to police stations, fire stations, schools, the 911 calling center, teachers, school nurses, our young people, senior citizen complexes, town officials and many others. We want to show that churches are not just places to come on a Sunday mornings, but a church are people that care about their community and are very thankful for the "organizations" that impact our Windham community in so many special and needed ways.

Happy New Year

05/18/2025

It's nice to have some nice weather. The rain has caused our grass to grow and it's nice and green. Can't cut it since I broke my femur bone a couple of months ago. Can take up a year to completely heal. My lawns will become hayfields. Have a great summer and let's stop all these accidents. Peter Lagasse

Dare I mention that spring has arrived! Think of the many senior citizens that may need their lawns raked or picked up from the litter that has flown into their yards. Do it for free if you can. Have a great day helping someone.

Let's make sure we are keeping our senior citizens safe during the winter months by checking on them.

To all who serve our towns, counties, state and our country may you all have a wonderful and safe Christmas. Let's all remember the Gift of Jesus that would grow up to be our Savior if we allow Him to be.
MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

School is back in session. Don't pass a school bus with blinking lights. You could hurt or kill a child 🚸
