Have you noticed back-to-school feels... different?

Maybe you're a student who still feels anxious walking through the doors.

Maybe you're a parent whose heart races a little every time your child leaves for school.

Maybe you're an educator who has spent so much time caring for everyone else that you haven't had the opportunity to process your own emotions.

If you or your family have been impacted by the Apalachee tragedy, please know these feelings are normal, and you don't have to carry them alone.

Healing Through Music is a free weekly group created for those affected by Apalachee. Through music, rhythm, songwriting, listening, and other creative techniques, participants will learn healthy ways to process emotions, reduce stress, and build resilience in a safe, welcoming environment.

No musical experience is required.
No pressure to perform.
Just a place to take one step toward healing together.

Healing doesn't always happen all at once. Sometimes it looks like asking for help. Learning new tools. Celebrating small victories that slowly become a new way of living.

This is why we do what we do.

We're honored to walk alongside individuals as they rediscover hope, resilience, and the joy of simply being themselves. Thank you to this courageous client for allowing us to share a glimpse of your story. Your journey is a reminder that healing is possible.

We're also incredibly proud of all of our counselors and counseling interns, including Leah, who faithfully invest in the lives of those they serve each day. Their compassion, dedication, and commitment to walking alongside clients through life's hardest seasons make stories like this possible.

Another Tuesday means another opportunity to slow down, breathe, and care for your mental health.

Join us tomorrow morning for Mindful Movement at the BRANCH Resiliency Center. This therapist-led class uses gentle movement to help reduce stress, build resilience, and reconnect the mind and body in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
