Everyone at Camp Blown Away wants to send a HUGE THANK YOU to our new fearless leader,Dani!!!
Our new camp director is not new to camp twin lakes or CHOA by a long shot, but she officially joined the CHOA camps team in January. She is doing an amazing job and we are all so incredibly thankful for all she did to prepare for this past week and also during the week! It’s a huge job and we are so glad she decided to take it on!!!

Everyone please send all the thanks and love to our girl!!!! We can’t wait for next year!

Dumpling was our last camper to leave, he is all packed up in mom’s car now and ready to rest this weekend. He had an amazing week at camp thanks to all of you! He learned about asthma, that even dogs have to use spacers with their inhalers,how to help his friends stay healthy, and take care of themselves too! He also loved all the pets, letters, bracelets, cards, belly rubs and love. He hopes he can see all of you again next year!!

We are having the most wonderful week!!! Parents make sure you download the Waldo app talked about in your email! Pictures are being uploaded as we are able.

The amount of joy, friendship, acceptance and happiness we have witnessed over the last few days has been amazing! We are honored to be given the opportunity to spend time with you simply AMAZING children! So thank you!!

I will warn you though, it’s seems there is something crazy happening… we have a bandit among us yet again… the duck bandit has returned and been very busy!! This individual seems to be leaving a trail of rubber ducky everywhere around camp…
