Some after school students had even more after program fun this evening!

Thank you NBT Bank and Monadnock United Way for hosting this Youth Day of Caring celebration! It was such a pleasure to see the joy on the kids faces when they were recognized and saw their photos. on the “big TV”. Thank you for all you do to support the youth in our region. ❤️

Last day of spring vacation camp! Dance party, karaoke, pizza, cupcakes, prizes, nature walk, and some very tired staff. We hope everyone had a great spring break, and wish everyone a restful weekend.

It was our first indoor day, so we took full advantage. We watched the movie Hoppers, ate all the snacks, got full of spaghetti sauce, had a dance party, played trivia, did drawings on our heads and laughed the day away. 😁

What a day! Monadnock United Way and NBT Bank our students were cooking! The youth day of caring was a huge success!

Our original plan was foiled because of wind, but we rocked out some other amazing things. Team “trash panda” helped the earth by making it cleaner. Team “Rock” (can you smell what he’s cooking) collected rocks for the Wi******er School’s new perennial flower gardens. And, team “garden gnome” weeded, outlined, mulched and planed pollinator flowers. We are so proud of our community service today!

Also, as a thanks to our students they potted their own flowers in their hand-painted pots, and explored pottery on pottery wheels.

Day #2 of spring vacation camp! Today we dove into sensory art. Students got two different types of art, spongy and fuzzy. Their favorite texture is up in the air. Magna tile structures were built, knees scraped, and sun kissed cheeks happened. Not pictured is our daily nature walk, water ballon ballon games, epic water battles, and all the good food. Oh, thanks to our wonderful community, a random fashion show broke out. 😂

Tomorrow we focus on community service! We will be participating in the Monadnock United Way Youth Day of Caring for Wi******er School Thanks NBT Bank!
