founded Power Kids Summer Enrichment Program in 2007. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind program which empowers children by teaching them how to build character and community. Power Kids is a summer alternative that goes beyond just recreation or a summer care option. Kids come to have fun, so we welcome them with more traditional camp fun than they ever could have imagined. We carefully plan our summer o

f fun to do something BIG and LONG LASTING for our kids – we emphasis character values that help them to better understand their roles in their community and how to be a better person/citizen. Power Kids focuses on five core character values that highlight the essence of Power Kids: Cooperation, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness and Citizenship. Each week we highlight one of these traits to foster active learning in our summer setting.

Power Kids 2026 enrollment forms will be emailed only to the families of last year’s campers on January 3rd. Those families will have the first 4 days to drop off their forms. After January 7th, enrollment will be open to all.

Local business woman Sheri Saperstein was named Power Kids 2025 honorary member this summer. We’re proud to acknowledge her many years of dedication to children and all ages, as well as, promoting movement, mental toughness and emotional strength. Sheri has 30 years in the fitness industry, a former New England lightweight bodybuilding champion and national competitor. She currently is the owner of Fire Up Fitness.
