Cast On For Cancer Over 1,658,370 new people each year are Diagnosed with cancer
Our mission is to provide as many people as we can with handmade knitted Hats .

This project was started by our founder Alexis "Lexie" Leigh Guevremont in
2014. Lexie saw so many people around her diagnosed with this dreaded disease we know as cancer and she was compelled to do something to offer hope. She started knitting hats and giving them to friends who had been diagnosed. It wasn't long before she started donating them to her local Wellspring an avenue that got her hat

s into the hands of patients. We continue today handkntting each hat. For every hat bought one is donated in someone of your choosings honor.

Hey Cast on for Cancer followers! Sorry I haven't been very active on my social media, I started my summer vacation with a trip to the Windy City. I am just returning home and plan to post updates of hats I am working on as well as those that I have finished! Stay tuned for lots of knitted hats!
