What does resiliency mean to you?

In this interview, Joe McClain sits down with Seth Martin to talk about military service, sudden deployment orders, family, and the stressors service members face every day.

With only five days notice before deployment, Seth shares what resiliency truly means — continuing forward without falling apart yourself or letting things fall apart at home.

Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave service members who gave their lives for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Memorial Day is a time of reflection, gratitude, and remembrance for the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice and for the families who continue to carry their memories forward.

At Help Heal Veterans, we honor their legacy by continuing our mission of healing the invisible wounds of war through therapeutic craft kits and creative connection.

Today, we remember. ❤️

The Remembrance Memorial Display is open to the public through May 26.

More than 7,700 boots honoring service members who lost their lives since Sept. 11, 2001, are displayed on Sadowski Field, in front of III Armored Corps Headquarters.

This is an opportunity each year for us to honor fallen heroes and show family members they have not been forgotten.

Immediate family members are encouraged to email Survivor Outreach Services at [email protected] or call 254-418-3040 to add a boot to the display.

That’s a wrap on our final day at NAMTA Creativation in St. Louis!

Thank you again to everyone who stopped by our booth, joined our make & take, and shared so many kind words about our mission and the work we do for veterans and active military. Your support means so much to us.

Stay tuned as we’ll be sharing interviews we recorded at the show with some amazing people from the creative community.

A huge thank you to NAMTA for supporting our mission, and thank you to Pebeo USA for donating markers for our make & take.

We also want to thank everyone who donated furniture during the show. Because of your generosity, we were able to provide furniture to a local veteran organization in St. Louis, The Kaufman Fund.

And thank you to all the vendors who donated products during our harvest. We can’t wait to get these creative supplies into the hands of veterans, active military, and their families across the globe as we continue healing the invisible wounds of war.
