7 years ago... Sean Lamb & Janet Miller were playing at the Goodrich Park Free Concerts! This little guy BREAKER BOSWORTH was dancing the night away! He has grown quite a bit since then!

First concert of the summer will be this Friday at 7pm! Food trucks, The Remedy Band, friends and fun. See you there!

One week from tonight...begins the 10th anniversary of music in the park!! The Remedy Band is sponsored by Randolph Tourism and John Rose will be at the amphitheater in Goodrich Park helping kick off 2026 music!!!

Bring your lawn chairs, your friends, your family and enjoy the beginning of music in the park for 2026! Food trucks will be ready to serve you around 6:00. Concert begins at 7.

Just 2 weeks from tonight for the first Goodrich PARK Free Concerts music. We will be welcoming "The Remedy Band" sponsored by Randolph Tourism starting at 7pm. Bring your lawn chair, some jingle in your pocket for the food trucks and get ready for some great music!

We have another NEW SPONSOR for the 10th anniversary of the 2026 Goodrich Park Free Concerts! The City of Wi******er, all our sponsors and the Wi******er Parks Board make sure the MUSIC PLAYS ON!

Grant and Sami Cox have joined as proud supporters of the Goodrich Park Summer Series. Grant grew up in Wi******er, and his band used to play at the concerts back in the first concerts before life took the band members in different directions. The Benefit also created a cool music video that was on Youtube back in the day.

Grant still enjoys drumming and is grateful for a wife that lets him be loud in the basement. He moved back to the community and works at the Community Foundation of Randolph County as the Scholarships & Community Development Officer. Sami, owner of "Samantha Decker Photography" grew up in Richmond and has lived in Wi******er for 4 years. She enjoys spending time in her garden, running, crocheting and reading. They also have two sweet pups, which you might see when they walk them around the park.

It is so exciting to see young people like Grant & Sami coming to the concerts and especially making a donation to support the music in Goodrich Park! Take a look at some of Samantha's amazing photography and stop by the Community Foundation of Randolph County to chat with Grant sometime. WE LOVE OUR "30 somethings" in our community...they are our future and the future looks bright.

When we say "TIME FLIES"...we mean it! The 2026 Goodrich Park Free Concerts is celebrating 10 YEARS of music in the park this summer!

It wouldn't be happening without the support of Mayor Bob McCoy, the City of Wi******er, the Parks Department and ALL THE SPONSORS throughout these 10 years! Especially Mr. John Rose of Star 98.3 WZZY radio for being our emcee and the hundreds of promotion spots on our hometown radio throughout the week.

The original organizers (Alice Myers, Deb Swift, Gary & Susan Peterson, Al Williams) met at bars and pubs to listen to bands, enjoy the food and drinks throughout the winter months. (It was a tough job but somebody had to do it!)

Fast forward to 2026. The business owners and people who have donated throughout the 10 years have made sure the MUSIC PLAYED on!

Everyone gathering together with friends, neighbors & family members has created some wonderful memories. THANK YOU TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU who have attended the concerts or supported us in any way!

Thanks to Tim Yost & Shean Bosworth and their crews who always have the park looking great, thanks to the Park Board for their support, thanks to all the bands that have lightened up our worries and cares with great music also.

June 12th with The REMEDY BAND is going to be amazing! 7pm start but the food trucks will be ready to serve around 6pm.

It has been brought to our attention that we are missing some sponsors and friends and we have two errors on the dates of concerts. We will get new postcards asap! Thank you to those who caught the mistakes! We appreciate you letting us know.
