Languages
• Currently, we have the user interface in English, Spanish, German, French, and Turkish. We want to continue to expand the app in different languages.
• The iPieta framework is set up so the user can navigate quickly and efficiently within his own language. But he can also access works from other languages with ease! He can download and delete such works at will.
• With your help, w
e can try to add material from new languages. If we have enough material, we can set up the user interface in that language and create a new iPieta app with all the material from that language pre-loaded (e.g., as just finished for iPieta Turkish). Audio
• We continue to record optional and free audio which can be downloaded within the app. The audio remains in the app unless it is deleted from Settings.
• Most prayers in English and Latin have been recorded as well as some basic prayers (e.g., the Rosary and Chaplet of Divine Mercy) in Spanish, German, and Turkish.
• Some works in Veritas have been recorded such as Infallibus Deus (apostolic constitution on the Immaculate Conception), some catechisms, and the "main body" of the Summa Theologic in English.
• We are currently set up to efficiently record and process professional audio in English, Spanish, German, and Turkish. Funding
• These projects obviously require funding. All members of our team work in a true apostolic manner: That is, they work either for nothing (e.g., the computer coding) or for bonafide reduced rates (e.g., the professional audio processing). For example, two members of our team are graduate students and a pontifical university in Rome and their work for iPieta not only improves the app but also helps sustain their own livelihood.
• iVerbum has been approved as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We are grateful for any contribution to help sustain this apostolate. On our part, we pray with our Lord's assistance that we may continue to operate this apostolate so that it may wholly directed towards leading souls to our Lord Jesus who is rich in mercy!
