Area 13 Special Olympics Virginia-Winchester, Frederick & Clarke Counties Area 13 is a Chapter of Special Olympics, VA serving Wi******er City, Frederick and Clarke counties. We provide year round sports at no cost to families.

Special Olympics provide year round sports training and athletic competitions for people with intellectual and physical disabilities. Children and adults who participate in Special Olympics develop improved physical fitness and motor skills, greater self-confidence, and a more positive self image. It also provides an opportunity for them to socialize in a safe and accepting environment. The Specia

l Olympics organization allows athletes to participate in a sports program that would not be available to them otherwise, all of which is offered at no cost to the athlete or their family.
