Yesterday, Governor Andy Beshear announced that 2025 was the best year in Kentucky tourism history, generating $14.6 billion in economic impact and supporting 96,993 jobs across the Commonwealth. Even more impressive, this marks the fourth consecutive record-breaking year for Kentucky tourism.
Right here in Clark County, tourism generated:
$65.6 Million in visitor spending
428 Jobs Supported
$13.2 Million in labor income
$4.9 Million in state and local taxes
These numbers represent visitors staying in our lodging properties, dining in local restaurants, shopping in local stores, attending events, visiting attractions, and supporting businesses throughout our community. Tourism helps create jobs, generate revenue, support local businesses, and strengthen the quality of life we all enjoy.
